A career built on real inclusion and SEND expertise
With more than 24 years’ experience in roles like Deputy Manager, SENCo, and Curriculum Lead, I’ve learned that real inclusion happens every single day.
It’s about building strong, trusting relationships within teams because staff rely on each other to provide truly effective SEND provision. When this happens, every child receives the help they deserve, without ever being seen as “too challenging.”
How I support you
I mentor practitioners to build practical strategies, guide SEND audits that lead to meaningful change. I also design sensory resources that you can use from my hand-made product line (launching in 2026.)
My experience has taught me that when support is personalised and proactive, it leads to lasting improvements for children, their families, and the teams around them.
Proven results you can trust.
Through practical experience and dedicated collaboration, I’ve delivered meaningful change that improves outcomes for children, families, and early years teams.

“Shandia was a brilliant mentor, who supported me thoroughly during the EYITT program. She was always approachable, polite and caring. I couldn’t have asked for a more passionate mentor, and would highly recommend her as a Mentor, personal tutor or Assessor.”
